... explain, why, when faced with a red and black pair of wires in one hand,
and red and black terminals on a PSU in the other,
and knowing full-well this PCB has no series protection diode,
I then proceed to very carefully connect red to black and black to red.
And then: the magical BLUE SMOKE !

I've always liked pulling things apart -
it's the putting back together again that I have some issues with.
